Another damaged bumper vent thread.
so i got backed into last night while i was parked in my friends neighborhood. some big SUV must have just reversed into my car. dunno who, its not where i normally park because it was actually a surprise birthday party, so we had to park a street away. didnt even realize it until this afternoon. it might have happened this morning in my own neighborhood, but i doubt it.
its not horrible damage, but its damaged. anyone wanna tell me how much this is gonna be?
the bumper is basically pressed down. the hood actually seems untouched.

should i even talk to my insurance? my deductible should be around $500. i really dont want any claims on my insurance, even if i had no fault. but if im gonna pay $500 deductible, it better be perfect!

yeah, sorry for the poor pic.
anyway, talking to some of the ktown meet folks, it seems like im just gonna be out $500 by my deductible and get the bumper replaced and painted like ive been bitching about for months anyway.
it still sucks, but whatever. edirtynine told me that anything under $750 in comprehensive cant go against me in terms of raised premiums. and Will told me a good local shop to go to, so itll all get done and no more complaining at least.
