To all our SoCal friends:

GripWerks will be organizing a barbecue on the 26th of February and is currently in the process of ironing out the details. In the meantime, we just wanted to extend this open invitation to everyone interested and get a list started so we can figure out details like location and food. Please add your SN, real name, and any +1s to the list and copy from the previous post as usual so no one's name is left out.

UPDATES:
-We will be closing sign-ups on Sunday (the 6th) to give us an idea of how much food we need to prepare and where to host the barbecue. Please pass this along to everyone you know who may be interested so they can get on the list before we finalize it. Thank you!

-We would like to make a clarification on why we're closing out the list on the 6th. Everyone is still welcome to join us, however do keep in mind that we may not have enough food to go around if you're not on the list. We're just trying to make our Procurement people's job a little bit easier.

-We are very pleased to announce that a location has been found, and there is a basketball court! The address will be released via mass PM at a later date to prevent complications. All the usual housekeeping rules will be in effect. Also, there will be absolutely no alcohol! Event starts at 10.

-And we're done with sign-ups! Last person officially on my list is Ian (sokdo).

-Check you inboxes! PMs have gone out to everyone on the list. If you're not on the list and would like to take part please PM me for the address. This barbecue is on! Rain or shine!

One more thing...

Don't forget to wash and detail your cars. Borrow wheels if necessary! Just make sure your S looks its very best because



MotorMavens will be scouting out the best-looking S to do a feature and interview! Time to button-up all those little projects and get it together!

Housekeeping:

-We would like to begin by reminding everyone to be careful on your drive to and from the barbecue due to the inclement weather.

-Please keep in mind that the barbecue will be at a park so we ask that everyone be mindful of that. Absolutely NO alcohol, excessive revving, burnouts, and showboating! Everyone's safety always comes first.

-Please help us keep the park clean by picking up after ourselves and not littering. We'll have trash bags available.

-Lastly, have fun!
