Thumbs down It's on: Sub box build day. Sun Nov 27th.

I think it's about time to finish up my sound system and the last thing I need to do(besides install components), is build a sub box. I've built many in the past and I have all the tools so I'm wondering how many people would be interested in making a day out of it.

IIRC 4'x8' 3/4" MDF(wood) should be about $30 (way more than enough for 2 boxes depending on design), Add in $5 for screws and probably $10-$15 for upholstery. We should be able to minimize costs and maximize efficiency by doing this as a group.

For the people that are interested, what type of subs are you planning to use? It is important to make the box the right size for your sub(s) and music tastes. The design I posted for a 12" sub is targeted to maximum SPL and accurate sound quality but may be too small for some brands/models. If anyone is interested in a bandpass design, take a look at Polk Audio's website and see if you like any of these setups:

I made one like this for my integra and it was great:

Don't think it will fit in the S though
