Default Intake manifold

I just purchased a used intake manifold from one of the members. He did a great job in starting to polish the outside of it. I want to have someone finish what was started and to also port and polish the inside. Does anyone have any suggestions as to who I can use to do the work.

Thanks,
Jim

it sounds much much easier than doing it, it's not just a enlarge the port and smooth out the inside job, it's much much more involving than it. for example, if you are using it on a NA car, notice the wall has some fine roughiness to it, it's because if they fully polish the wall to a mirror finish, the air travelling inside will have a different velocity(air near the wall, air in the center of the runner) and cost turbulence.

you can enlarge it to the size of canada and not have positive result on flow bench, it's not something that can be easily diy with good result. of course some internet guy will tell you they felt like they gain 15 whp and 12.56 torque with a dremel job on the mani but please, if everything can be buttdyno'ed, there's no need to invent a flow bench

not trying to sound like an arse but just to give you some warning.

you can find guy that does P&P at most of the engine builter that does head job, the rate is different. i think skunk2 does head job and P&P, well, at leat they used to for civic back in the day

When I replaced mine I just took the big burrs out, just because I wanted too. I matched my intake ports but not the exhaust, it was too much and I didn't want to take a chance. I talked to the guy who's last name begins with A and he told me there were no gains in HP by polishing. Everyone see's the outside so polish it like a mirror if you want. Bling is all you can get from an N/A, just compliments the car.
201 to the wheels.

I've just begun polishing one of these.. going to take an age but it's strangely relaxing in a car-manic kind of way.

Was considering having it ported & polished myself however i've been told that refraining from doing that and keeping the inside rough will increase the turbulence that the inward air receives and possibly aid density.

Still waiting for a definitive answer, however it was interesting yesterday, whilst visiting spoon uk they reported that the standard inlet manifold on an s2000 is an exceptionally well build piece of kit and that they think it may perform better than itb's - which is interesting considering it's spoon that said that.
