Default Navi/ Monitor/ DVD/ Ipod Install: Pics Included

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to show the work I just got completed on my car. Unfortunately, I am not able to do the work myself, so I had the work done at Cartunes (404-256-5602 (Ask for John)) in Sandy Springs, GA (ATL). They did an excellent job and I recommend them.

My project was to have a car that had a Navi, DVD Player, CD Player, Ipod Adapter (that controlled the ipod via touch screen), and XM Radio.

I ended up going with the following parts:

Alpine DVD Navigation System: NVE N872A
Alpine Vehicle Hub: VPAB222
Alpine I-Pod Interface: KCE422I
Terk XM Direct Turner: XMD1000
Alpine Indash CD/ DVD Player: DVA7996
Alpine Touch Screen Monitor: M770

A control wire for the XM Radio was on back order, so I have to go back to get the XM turner installed.

Also, the pic of the rear view mirror has a Passport SR7 radar dector in the windshield frame above it.

I hope that you guys like it.

+1 on the "would like to see better pics" bandwagon. Looking good from what I can see!

Update.... the Navi system is a POS. It had my car floating all over the place. It never knew where I was. I am in Chicago (I live in ATL) and my Navi just stopped working. I don't know where the hell I'm going. My screen is totally blank, I can't get to my ipod controls. This really sucks. I already made an appointment to go back to the install place. I am so pissed. >
