Default What does this stands for..?

Alright, I'm gonna ask people to give me an honest answer for this one. Don't look it up. It's you know it or not.

How many of you know what GOP stands for? Not what it means, but what it stands for.

Personally, I know a bunch of people had been seeing this term for years, and yet, they still don't really know the meaning. I will post a link in the Vintage owner section to test their ability.

My understanding is that it abbreviates Grand Old Party.

its the term associated with the Republican party. The origins of therm is lost to me.

If you hear the term "the GOP candidate is no longer running for that office" they are referring to the Republican candidate
