DRIVE:

10 AM

Mt Rainier loop. Scenic drive through Mt Rainier National Park and surrounding areas. There are some segments which can be driven in a spirited manner, but for the most part it is a relaxed pace. Especially when you get behind an RV. The route is under 200 miles and we'll probably stop 3 or 4 times for pictures, bladder relief, and venting our frustrations over how slow people drive.

Meeting spot: 76/Jack in the box, 16022 Meridian E (aka Highway 161), Puyallup, WA. There's also an Albertson's and Starbucks near by.

Please bring CASH. There is a $15 per car entrance fee into the park, and it goes MUCH quicker if you don't have to use plastic over their tin cup internet connection.

We should arrive at the BBQ in Auburn by 4, meaning you could be back in Seattle by 5pm if you have other plans.

Feel free to arrive any time after 3pm (assuming you're not on the drive). Toni said she'd leave a sign out front to help people find the house, and I assume the gate will be kept open. If the gate is closed when you arrive, there's a call box.

Good! But is was major surgery and the recovery is tedious But she is doing good for what she went thru.
