Default anyone in gainesville heard rod knock before?

Here is a link to my current problem. If there is someone in Gainesville that has heard rod knock before and can just say that it sounds like it just give me a call and I'll buy you lunch, dinner, or a 12 pack.

WD, I forwarded your PM to Todd.

I will be in contact with him today and will point him to the boards. He does not usually hang out in here on Saturday but I will get in touch with him and give him your contact info.

PM me with your phone numbers and name and i will see he gets the message.

well i am from gville and all i can say do not i repeat do not take your car to the local dealer. they will just make it worse. if you must need it checked a shop called newberry imports on newberry rd is pretty good in telling you what may be wrong. but i agree with primogen i would have 2nerwerks look at it and see what they can do for you. best of luck. if you do stop at newberry import you can visit me as well i am working at mobile revolution and you can compare differences from my s2k from yours

Thanks primogen. He actually responded to the email I sent him. He always suprises me with how fast he responds to emails.

ZSAK : That were my exact thoughts. I have had bad enough experiences with shops down in Naples that have " good reputations" that 2nrwerks is on the top of my list and way out in front compared to everyone else. I might stop by just to have you start it up for me.

I agree with ZSAK, do not go to a dealer. They wanted 10k to rebuild.
total , and that was just the estimate.

As for having the unfortunate expierence of rebuilding also, I hope you did not destroy your mains on the block side.
Todd will take care of you, he has helped me out a lot.

I hope all works out with you. If you are interested in building a stronger motor let me know and I will let you know how to find all the parts.
Only had 1 year to do research.

It's at 2nrwerks. I figured the headache of going somewhere else wasn't worth it. Todd is a great guy and I have full faith that he'll take care of me.

As of right now maybe I should just get one of these bad boys...
