Default Buy a car and discover

TL/DR: previous owner was an idiot and cut the unibody to install the rear strut bar instead of removing the rear seats.

Anybody have a pic of what that area is supposed to look like? I can tell there's been cutting, but can't tell how much.

It is humorous that somebody compromised the structure of the car to put in a brace, but I suppose it's possible that the end result is a wash since the brace IS in there :shakeshead:

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the previous owner's mommy bought them this car, hence the huge lack of respect for it.

I guess it would be too much to buy a part that was actually designed for the car.
