Default Just my luck - I got into a car accident

I was coming down 95 south tonight in the S2000 in the middle lane and out of no where I see this disabled car (sideways) in the middle lane with no lights on. I didn't see this freakin' car until the last minute and fortunately I was able to swerve to the right and avoid a head on collision. Unfortunately I didn't see it fast enough to avoid an accident all together.

I clipped the front of the disabled car, damaging the driver door, rear quarter panel and a little of the side of bumper. The best part is that hitting the car made the S spin out of the middle of the highway 2 times but luckily I avoided the divider. I ended up sideways close to the divider and I was able to start the car again and move myself to the breakdown lane.

Unfortunately only minutes later another car came and hit the disabled car head on. It was ugly. I think there was a total of 5 cars that had some kind of damage.

I'm ok, I think.

I know this goes without saying, but go to a doc and get checked out just to be safe. Glad you're ok, Julius...

I can imagine. I've had a few close calls in the last few weeks, myself.

It's an epidemic. I should hide out in my house for the next month
