Well, it was nice seeing everyone. I was really impressed by the turnout. Anyhow Yes, I made it back on my spare. First time using cruise control. Drove 55mph for over 100miles and I'm home. Thanks everyone for the help and quick wheel change. Others have said this before, but I am really impressed with how nice and thoughtful this group is. Here's a few pics from the drive today. Post yours up as well.
I have only a few. Not the fine quality of those posted above. Light and shadows were not my friend in these pics.
Group shot. Not everyone is here, some folks were still waiting in line.......I wish Ben would have been here to capture the group photo........but NO, he was out with the Red German Car club torturing car salesmen across New England.
Here is Al/ajlafleche. Good to meet you at last, Al.
These two say it all about New England, Glenn and Thomas helping out with the tire change for JSWhaler.
And last the Toon and me. On his first meet at our house, he was sweet enough to bring the hostess flowers. He quickly realized that flowers could be swapped for baked goods. He showed up yesterday with flowers. Sorry Bass, no cookies for you this time.
Hope everything goes well getting your baby back into ship shape. You scared the piss out of us (we were right behind you), but we're all happy things turned out as "uneventful" as they did.
Folks,
Nice to see you all!
Just a few shots, folks... First, Chazmo and Karen at the state forest, then later on the way back from N.Adams at the hairpin.
