Why do you buy Honda?
Honda engines suck. Their Formula 1 engine is one of the weakest if not the weakest. It's bottom of the barrel in both performance and reliability. So what makes Honda so good?
Honda engines suck? Must be their lack of experience building engines - hell they are only one of the biggest (if not the biggest) engine builders in the world making engines for everything from weed-wackers, lawnmowers and generators to boat motors, motorcycles and of course cars. Oh, and who has ever heard of a Honda car engine going over 100k or even 200k miles?
What do you drive there wc_one?

honda does not have the weakest engine, that would have to go to Renault or jaguar. And yes, what car do you drive? and like DarioManfretti said, senna or prost would not think so. I believe Honda Mclaren has the most wins in F1 history, something like 8 championships. BAR (Honda) makes around 880 bhp, not so weak. Hey good try tho
The weakest engine right now is the Renault. If wc_one were a real fan he would be able to see how Button pulled away from Trulli in the Renault on the straights.
Yes it should make around 880hp now, since the SUzuka engine made 870, and there were recent upgrades to the new engine which started life with the same power as the Suzuka engine of last year.
The Sauber engine is admitted to be making 850, which should be what Ferrari ended last year with, I dont suppose a fan like wc_one would know??
It's easy to blame the engine, but maybe you can consider if the car is that great first..
Mclaren Honda did win a lot of championships. In combination with WIlliams, Honda won 6 straight drivers titles in the late 80's early 90's. The peak being a 15 win season in 1988, bettering the season percentage that ferrari had last year.
What makes Honda good? COnsider this; when Honda is responsible for the total package, e.g. MotoGP, bike racing, they win like nobody else can. So there are a lot of technical issues surrounding why BAR is not competitive, a lot stemming from the cooperation and technical competence of the BAR staff.
wc_one, I hope you can understand...

The fact that you have to compare BAR to Renault is sad and proves just how poorly the Honda engine is doing. Thank you for pointing that out.
Honda won with Williams in 1987, and with McLaren in 1988-1991. That makes 5 wins not 8. And I am not talking about the past, I am talking about today. Last season and so far this season Honda engines blew up more than any other. Add to that fact it's poor perfomance and you have a seriously sorry engine. Low reliability and low power, you can't get much worse than that.
Your technical expertise astounds me. Everyone knows that nowadays it isnt a simple case of buying an engine and putting it in a car. It is very important to have the technical staff of the constructor tell the engine manufacturer exactly what it needs. That is what's called integrating your engine. If you don't have perfect integration, you limit yourself in terms of power, driveability, reliability, and car handling.
You want to tell me BAR last year has the same level of expertise as the big 3 who have been in the pitlane for at least 30 years each?
Sharing your engine among two constructors and having to please both sides, who have different needs is very difficult. Nevermind that you will never admit that the Honda had 870 at the end of last year, your technical knowledge simply doesnt make you worth discussing with.
Let me also point out, the Jaguar engine was in fact the 2nd best behind BMW last year. The order is widely believed to be BMW-COsworth-Ferrari-Honda, but it should be that the Honda exceeded Ferrari at the last race.
If the engine means everything, should'nt Jaguar be at the sharp end? Give me some reasons here...
