I highly recommend Dan Carney's book "Honda S2000"
After seeing lots of references to the book on this board, I broke down and ordered a copy from Amazon.com (i got the book delievered for less than $20).
What great reading. I also have the Honda produced hard copy book but was unimpressed. The Honda book really left me with more questions than answers.
Dan Carney's book has some Honda production background, some Honda racing information, a brief descrpition of the NSX and ITR and then a pretty good description of the Stook. The book goes into design goals, explanations of the different components to the car, engineer input, etc. I especially liked the early drawings.
Carney even goes into a discussion of some of our cars biggest competitors and where we are better and in some cases worse.
Perhaps the thing I liked best about the book is the fact that it comes off as being unbiased. It is obvious that Carney gets it. He loves the car, but finds its shortfalls and tells everyone that this car is not a Z3 and really not meant for everyone.
I highly recommend everyone picks up a copy for their coffee table.

One of my colleagues gave me the book as a present when I took delivery of my car, well one line sums it up ... If you can read Japanese then this is the closest it gets to reading an S2K book written in Japanese. Not bad for people who wish to find out more about their car but nothing significantly special or can't be found elsewhere. BTW, anyone wants to buy it off me?
Is that Honda produced book still available?? If so where?

Just talk to your dealer. They have this same book/brochure with a spiral binding. If your dealer is any good they will give it to you.
The Dan Carney book is at least 100 times better and less than half the price.
