Does anyone know where I can buy some plastic trim that matches the console trim that I could cut to size to finish off the install?

have done a very quick photoshop hack:

Obviously the ipod would be fitted straight!

Hi Mat.
I got mine yesterday. & the ProClip mount today.

I'm going to see how it goes with the proclip & I'll post some pics. It looks very neat.
Not sure if I'll get the opportunity this weekend as I'm bogged down with work.
But looking forward to it.

All Fitted.
Piece of cake and I'm very pleased with the sound quality. Can't fault it really.

I used the ProClip (As I don't have a nice cubby hole in my 02 ) and it works fine. Just went for a spirited spin and it wasn't in the way at all. Plus the pod's in pretty solid.

I do get the "on,off,on,off,on" when you first turn on the radio. I suspect the unit is doing a search for the number of CDs in the changer or something. But it's not a big deal really.

Here's a couple of pics.
...
I also took the opportunity to fit my 04 radio door... Looks quite nice up against my nob.

In short. I'm chuffed. Thanks for finding this little gem Mat. I may even treat Donna to one for the CRV.

Ta ;

At the moment its either Ipod + Alpine solution or..

I'm looking at installing a hard disk somewhere in the car, this will be connected to my home PC via a wireless link which will allow me to transfer music and edit playlists at my desk before going for a blast!

A friend of mine owns an audio store in Cardiff and his demo Beemer has a 20GB hard drive - wireless link install. I'm hoping to visit him in a few weeks to discuss the possibility of doing the install on my car. If all goes well we'll post pics of the work and look to offer a group buy for any interested members. My car will then be used to demo so I'll pop along to meets to show it off, again if people are interested.

I'll keep you all informed but it will be fact finding only for the next few weeks until he returns from holiday.

Stereo/speaker and Amp options will be personal.

We'll be looking to offer the best possible MP3/iPod and wireless solutions available.
