Default  Does any one have NOS!!

Hello people. Im new to the S2000 site. I'll be buying a S2K in a few months. My buddy has a NSX and we know of a shop that is going to be installing a wet directport NOS 150HP shot. I was talking to the owner of the shop and he will install the same setup wet directport NOS 100HP shot in my S2K. What i want to know if any one out here has something like this. I know all the bad things that people say about nos.

thanks....

if you do a search, a wet shot is not recommend. go w/ either a dry or a direct port. most people go for a 50 shot, but you can "safely" do a 100 shot. the thing about the 100 shot, thats alot of torque to the rear end.

a direct port is a wet shot. direct port is the best cause it distributes nitrous evenly throughout all four cyclinders.

NO NOS! Do comptech supercharger. NOS is not good unless your drag racing. Don't waste your money. I have both, never need the NOS unless your racing a moded US fat shit.

I used to have a 50-shot "dry" system. It was good fun when I beat Camaro Z28's and Mustang GT's. No problems w/it. I would be scared to add 100-shot without some kind of axle reinforcement. Good Luck!

It's funny that out of all of the responses so far no one has brought up air fuel tuning. Direct port can be done safely and reliably on this engine provided that dyno tuning is done to ensure proper fuel tuning.

I personally think that given the right mixture of air and fuel with a direct port setup a 100 shot could be used on a daily basis. (to and from work )

Good luck.

I had a 50 shot for a while with a vafc for fuel, but took it of when I went to honda for a service. With a 50 shot (dry) I was neck and neck with a c5, and never had any problems. If you are goin 100 shot get a vafc for fuel tuning, and a direct port would help too.
