My friend's go fast toy wrecked (before & after)

Ok, I got permittion to post these pics. This car has a LOT of mods and it is very very fast. He can run even with a M3 LTW with Euro Engine on Mid-Ohio straight. The car is totalled, at least I don't have to worry about running with this car again.

anyway, the story is that he let his friend drives the car. and, this guy think he is so cool. He early apexed the corner and lost the car. The car plow into the wall, bouncing back and hit another wall. so that's the story. The worst part is that the insurance doesn't pay for his go fast goodies. He try to get his friend to pay for it. His friend outright refused and claim he didn't do anything wrong. The friend says, "The car is too fast and too hard to drive." and he refuse to apologize. The reason is that he doesn't want to legally responsible for it.
So, anyone knows what my friend can do to retrieve some of the investment back?

I could recognize it because I know Geoff's friend who went to school here at Cornell. If you know Geoff, you probably know Laurent, the one with the R50. That is one fast car man!
Anyway, too bad he let his friend drive it... that is one helluva E36 M3. It was faster than Laurent's previous E36 M3 sedan Auto with Dinan supercharger.
So Geoff's friend wrecked it AT the race track? Also, when you posted that you and him were on the freeway to the track that he was many many cars in front of you, where you in your "95 325is or were you in your S2000?
I have a '95 325i and I have recently been severely hooked to the S2000 because I've been watching many VCDs of the S2000.... I'm hooked... though I have never driven the S2k yet.

The highway story was in my S2000. I don't think my 325is is anywhere close to that result. He probably at the track while I am still on the highway, if I am in my BMW.
