Default What;'s your gas mileage?

I have been tracking mine. Average about 24 MPG highway. I have a tendancy to goose it about every hundred miles just to hear it run and drive 80 - 85 MPH where ever I go. Post your mileage and driving style for comparison. I'm sure others are interested.

I recently cruised up the Valley of California from LA to Sacramento. I actually got around 30 MPG!!! Hit around 300 miles and had about 2 bars left, filled up 10 gal.
I was cruising between 80-90mph most of the way. This was also top up (didn't want any bugs in my hair).
City will be about 22-24MPG.

mine averages 19... not much slow driving- and most of it is on the street (not on the highway).

I think you need to come to Austin for one our hill country drives. We can do the following:

1) cure your high milage praises,

and

2) test out the durability of that stone guard kit of yours

I seem to be getting just at 24 MPG mostly 80-85 MPH driving, some stop and go traffic and some 90+, VTEC once or twice a day. The car has 2450 mi. on the clock.

22 mpg in mixed highway/street driving. I tend to open it up when space, traffic, et al permit but usually keep it below 85 on the freeway.

1200 miles on the clock.

ps - i was averaging about 25mpg in mixed driving when i broke the car in and couldn't vtec for the first 600 miles.

Normal day-to-day use (25 mile round trip commute in the summer plus the odd non-highway trip) gets me 22-23 mpg.

I just got back from a trip to The Gap last weekend - backroad blasts averaged 26-27 mpg, interstate cruising (top up, a/c on where appropriate, cruise set at 77-78 mph) got 28-30 mpg.
