Had to part with the S2000 (though I did love it). Needed a ride with room for car seats in the back. No SUVs or minivans for this family! These kids are stylin' !!

I'll still be hanging around S2KI. Great group of people. Of course I'll be spending a lot of time on the BMW forums now too.

You got it right. Carbon Black. That's why there is a deep blue metallic color any time the sun is out. Otherwise it just looks black.

I've only been driving it a few days, so I'm not really sure of what mods I may want to do yet. Probably the short-shift kit. After having a Voodoo knob on my S, this thing feels like I'm throwing it a mile into each gear. It's very smooth, just a long throw.

The break-in is 1200 miles on these. You have to keep it under 5K before that. It's a lot different from the S in that you didn't really know what lay beyond V-tech until you actually did it. With this car, the HP and torque are so much more linear and flat you get a definite sense of what taking it up to that 8K red line is going to do. It's such a tease right now.
