how the hell do u get the s2k on 4 jack stands??
Lets see... If you jack up the car at one of its lift points there is no room to slip a jack stand under that same point.
so how am i supposed to get the car on 4 jack stands at the 4 lift points???
how do you guys do it?

1) Jack up side with scissor jack
2) Put Floor jack under front central jacking point and raise car
3) Put stands under the front, side jacking points and lower car on to them.
4) Raise rear of car with floor jack using the diff. as the jacking point.
5) Put stands under the side, rear jacking points and lower car on to them.
Reverse order to put the car down, however, do not forget that you can't lower the car all the way with most Floor jacks in the front. I use my scissor jack to "catch" the car to leave room to get the floor jack out.

You can eliminate meat's #1 step simply by making 2 "ramps" to drive the front wheels onto first. That way you can get a floor jack under the car to the front central jacking point. The "ramps" don't have to be fancy, just a piece of 2 x 10 about a foot long. You can bevel one edge to make it easier to drive onto if you like. This raises the car about 1 5/8 inches (a 2 by isn't 2 in. thick) but it's enough.
If your jack is low enough (about 3-1/2 in. height) and your car hasn't been lowered, you can lift the front enough to slide the jack under and position it under the front jacking point. A 3-1/2 in. jack will slide in under the back fine without any extra clearance. (There may be a current group buy on these.)
Griot's Garage sells a serviceable jack that has a 1-1/2 in. clearance that will slide right under the front of the car, but it's heavy and costs about $225.
Otherwise, some kind of ramp is necessary to get the front end high enough. I bought handy, lightweight plastic 2-step ramps that are real easy to drive up on for $39. If you're interested, let me know and I will fish out the name or web site.

I can't find the front/rear jack point! Please help. Also, to change the oil, do I need to either jack up all 4 corners, or do I lift up the front, remove the drain plug and filter, lower it, drain, then lift up again? Is that the ticket?
Cheers,
Edward

Front jacking point is WAY back from front end of car but it's pretty obvious once you see it. It's kind of a cross member and of course in the middle (from side to side) of the car. Rear jack point is the differential. To change oil you only need to jack up front.

I haven't done a oil change yet on this car (I prefer a dealer do the first few, then there's no warranty issue); often one can do it without jacking up the car -- it's always best to keep it level.
