Default FS: Mugen SS Rear Wing (On HondaRevolutions)

There's Mugen SS rear wing (formally on the back of a Spoon prepped race S2000), for sale over on the Honda Revolutions site here

No connection to it, just posting a link in the hope someone else will buy it before I give in to temptation

Cheers Brian, trying to register as a Honda Revolutions member but the confirmatory email is taking ages to come through!

Nope. It is a bit... noticable. I'd like less lift at the rear. Can't mesh the bumber without removing the rear impact bar... which is a no-no for the road. So that leaves spoilers/wings. The Honda spoiler doesn't do much of anything aerodynamically. There are two, that I know of, that have been developed in a wind tunnel. Both Mugen. The SS wing, works with the Mugen hardtop, and should provide some benefit with the Honda hardtop. The Mugen spoiler is designed for when the soft top is down. The spoiler's a little more subtle... but still noticable.

I've driven without the front strakes (they reduce the front end lift and drag), which was a bit more balanced front to back, but was nervous.

Hence the post - if someone else buys it, that removes the temptation. I've been stewing over any aero/body changes for a looooong time. If someone buys it... then I can keep stewing and my wallet is safe. (Just taken the ludicrous hit of a full set of Honda brake discs - which given the price, should come gold plated....).

OK, IMHO it's a bit 'noticeable'. Not for me, but a bit of extra grip at the back wouldn't go amiss I guess. Not that I ever really realise the full potential. I think I would need a few more mods before I am in need of extra downforce, I have a few extra KGs in the drivers seat than most

Very tempting Brian!

I've promised myself I won't buy anything until next year and I must remain strong! Come Jan/Feb spending can begin in earnest.
