I think this is a big lie... 4.1 sec for 0-60? that is a joke to me...!! if that is for real, I think many people will buy it in a heart beat..!!

also, for the R version, never heard the rpm stay the same... I think if that is the R version, it should be able to do like 9200 or 9300 rpm...

3000 cc with 360 hps? that is harder than making 2000 cc engine to 240 horses... and a 6 cylinder? huh...

0.93 g skidpad...wow....

I wonder if NSX is gonna be 3.8 sec(0-60), 1.0G skidpad, 4000 cc V8 with 500 hps.. No way that S2000 is gonna kill NSX...!! I don't think it is in Honda's book.... so, I call it as a BS...

If it was real, I geuss i could start drooling anytime now.
A quick google search on the "author" turned up a linux geek. Now of course this is not a bad thing but not exactly who you would expect Honda to turn to for reviews.
Article wasn't dated on april 1st.
Maybe he's trying to buy used s2k and figured he could drive the market down

is it to early to get the vortech kit for it ?

The article stretches things just far enough so it might be real but the line that I found most suspect
" and the halfshafts at the rear are hollow carbon fiber units. " Mind you, i'm no ME, but from what I remember about carbon fiber is the stuff doesn't like high impulse loads, like a driveline lash.

maybe he just having fun with the big mags and seeing how long it takes for his rumor to show up in print.

or maybe it's true and he BS'ed his way into the press event and isn't honoring the news embargo?

This sentence gives it away:

"The interior is missing the base model's distinctive lateral floor beam just ahead of the seats, and the backs of the seats are finished in black carbon fiber rather than the matching colored plastic of the base model."

The beam has to be there for the frame to stay rigid, and a US Honda car will never use carbon fiber trim pieces in its interior.
