Yahoo scam

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Yahoo! User,

We encountered a billing error when attempting to renew your Yahoo! service. This type of error usually indicates that either the credit card you have on file has expired or that the billing address we have is not current.
This is your final notice. Please take a moment to update your credit card information by clicking here and submitting your information.
Please note that we will attempt to renew your service five days from today. If we are still unable to charge your credit card at that time, your service will be terminated.

Sincerely,

PayPal scam

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Dear PayPal user,
PayPal is constantly working to increase security for all our users. To ensure the integrity of our payment network, we periodically review accounts.
Your account will be placed on restricted status. Restricted accounts continue to receive payments, but are limited in their ability to send or withdraw funds.
To lift this restriction, you need to complete our credit card verification process. At least one credit card in your account has been unconfirmed, meaning that you may no longer send money with this or any other card until you have completed the credit card confirmation process. To initiate the credit card confirmation, please follow this link and fill all necessary fields:

Thank you,
The PayPal Account Review Department

Heres an E-Bay one that I've gotten about 6-7 times. After the message they have a form for you to fill in pretty much every bit of sensitive information one would need to steal an identity (SSN, DL#, CC#'s...)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear eBay member,

eBay is moving to better servers so that better services can be provided. Due to our migration, it is necessary to update our database and backup our customer's data. In order for us to accomplish that, you need to enter the below information.

ATTENTION
- If this information is not sent to eBay by November 30th 2003, your eBay account with us will be automatically deleted!

Please notice that the form must be filled out with maximum accuracy.

Hey, I got that one about my PayPal account coming to an end if I don't run the attachment. My anti-virus picked it up as a bad thing. After contacting Paypal and getting the useless runaround, I decided to just let my account lapse. I guess my account is still good, huh? Thank Gawd for Norton.
