Default ATTENTION: Stolen stook found in N.J.!!

On my way to Hot Import Nights on Saturday I stopped at a rest stop to well... take a rest. When I pulled in, I parked next to another stook. On closer inspection this car was STRIPED!! Everything was gone seats, complete drive- train, light covers, even the wind deflector! Talk about disturbing.
Here are the vital stats: It was a 2001 S2000 in Yellow with New York tags (the new kind). The car was in the Vince Lombardi reststop off of the Garden State Pkwy near exit 17. I didn't take down the VIN or the plate but I did call the police. They were zero help. When I returned to the rest stop hours later on my way home the car was still there the police never came to investigate.

It seems the thiefs slit the top, released the latched and forced it down. Judging from the scratchs on the tow loops the car was towed away and striped somewhere private. The site of the car shook me. It was scary to see what could be done to our cars. Be careful boys and girls were vunerable to theft. This was a new car there was not a spot of wear and tear on anything that was left behind. I hope that this helps someone find their baby and brings some closure. Shout it from the roof tops help bring this fallen stook home!

What can we do? In his case he thinks the car was towed.
I had my RX-7 stolen few years back. The alarm was on and it never went off. No broken glass, no alarm sound, nothing. Just disappeared and never recovered (thanks god).

What you mean he had a STRIPED paint job??

Please check spelling, it's not such a difficult thing and it makes you look SO much more intelligent if you get it right!

That's sad...

I've grown quite attached to my car.

It makes me feel sad and mad to hear about our car violated like this.
