Default The yellow S2K is now SUPERCHARGED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey all!

Well we finnaly finished the installation of Comptech's Supercharger, and let me tell you..... OH MY FREAKIN GODDD!!!!!!!!!

The kit is very complete and honestly the best forced induction kit I have ever seen. The install went very easy and Comptech's instructions are great. Very text book style. It took us about two days for the full install and the final product is Awesome.

The kit comes very complete:
Paxton Novi 1000 Polished Super charger (self oiling)
Hand laid Carbon fiber air box with filter
Fuel pressure regulator
High volume fuel pump
New crank pulley
V belt
All hardware and connectors

While we were at it we also installed:
Mugen Header
APEX Vtec Controller
APEX Boost gauge
APEX Exhaust temp gauge

The install took us two days because we had to remount and re run the Nitrous system as well as re jet it down to a 30 HP shot.

Comptech is also in the process of designing an air to water after cooler which we will also be using.

My first impression when driving was Oh my F___IN god. It was amazing. Under Vtec the car feels the same, but once you hit 6 grand, hold on. The power just sends the rear of the car in to a spin. The sound is spectacular and at full throttle all you can hear when you fly by someone is the whine of the charger.

This is honestly the best modification I have ever done to any car I have ever owned.

Greg Stevens will post pictures shortly.

If anyone has any questions or would like to order the kit, or even any one interested in starting a group by please post hear or email me.

I must go now and drive!

How about a sound file, Greg or Larry?

That sounds great...what about a 0-60 time; That's what I really want to know! Also, what size wheels and tires are on the car. Thanks.

Larry can I suggest that you also get a Air/Fuel Ratio gauge to monitor if the car is running to rich or lean since you have the VAFC.

Speaking for Larry (sorry), he has 19" Hart Racing wheels. They look really sweet!

Actually disappointed that there's no improvement in the under-VTEC range....

I will be taking it to the strip when it opens in spring, being in Chicago and being Winter, all strips are closed.

I have Racing Hart M5 wheels, 19 x 8 in front and 19 x 8.5 in rear.

The air/fuel meter is going in next, i am just in the process of designing a pod to hold gauges under the dash.

exNSX... actually I found there was. There's an increase in torque on the lowend which ramps up more gradually into VTEC range. The VTEC bite didn't feel as big because of that but by all means it wasn't due to lack of speed.

IMHO, I think he was talking about the drivability of the lowend, which remains the same with the added bonus of more linear torque.

But this is only from 1 test drive, YMMV.

Sounds incredible! I have 2 questions though.

1. How does this affect the longevity and reliability of the engine?

2. How much???
