Just got my JDM OEM 6-spokes wheel, looking for even lighter wheels now for track!

I tried to do a search, but most of information is on the 17" TE-37 wheels!
Anyone have 16" Volks TE-37 on their S2000? What is the offsets (front and rear?) I know a lot of people go with the 17" TE-37, but they are 15.0 lbs per wheel.

USDM OEM is around 17.5, 18.6 lbs (Front, rear) per wheel

JDM OEM (BBS Forged) is around 13.3, 14.3 lbs (Frnot, rear) per wheel

17" X 7.5 Volks TE-37 is at 15.0 lbs per wheel (Not much weight saving since I'm there with my JDM wheels, Plus I heard that they are expensive! And 17" tires will be wider and HEAVIER!)

16" X 7 Volks TE-37 is at 11.2 lbs (Even lighter than the 16" spoons, and looks good plus many color choices. I just don't know their offsets!)
16" X 8 Volks TE-37 at 15.0 lbs. per wheel??????

16" X 7 Spoon Sports SW388 is 11.9 lbs per wheel (but only come in Black, they will look kind of odd on my Silver car!)
16" x 8 Spoon Sports Sw388 at 12.9 lbs per wheel

15" X 6.5 Spoon Sport SW388 is 8.6 lbs per wheel (too small for the S2000, but I'm thinking getting it for my CRX. Super light! )

Help!

I would track with the JDM 6-spoke instead.

Desmond Regamaster

These are the same wheels that Spoon sells as the SW388 (Desmond makes them for Spoon).

The only differences are that they don't say "Spoon" and that they don't come in black (which sounds like a positive for you). Colour choices are silver, gun metal and white.

As they are the same wheels, they are the same weight, offset, etc. as the Spoons.

There was a GB a while back. Check out this thread. A bunch of folks got 'em so I'm sure you can ask what people think and get good responses.

Thank! That will be my next consideration! But the Volks TE-37 looks so good!

i think you would have to run 15" rims to get any lighter than 12lbs

You might also want to check out the Volk CE28N. They are even lighter than the TE37's, but it may be a while before you can get your hands on them. Check out this thread.

Which probably will not clear the calipers.

Yeah! Thaks again! guys! I'm staying with 16" on the S2000! I think the 15" will be too small for this car anyway, even if it will clear the brake problem! Just need to find the right set-up!

I hope my CRX can use 15" Spoon wheels to clear my 4-pot wilwood disc set-up! Love to have the 14", but impossible with my brake set-up! I needed! Because I'm going with the CR-VTEC next year! Watch out you guys! When I'm not driving my S2000, the CRX will be the SLEEPER!

We need 16" to stay stock-legal in SCCA Solo2.

I imagine custom aluminum wheels (like Diamond or Keizer) will weigh 10 lb in stock size. Anyone know? The problem is not only can't you hit a curb with them but the average tire-change monkey is likely to ruin them too.
