I'm pretty sure that's what I'm running. Mine has the yellow top and is pretty light. I got it for free, sorry I don't really have much more information than that. I can check what type it is for you, probably tomorrow morning though.

I think Prolene might use that battery. You might want to PM him and get the info.

Is the Odyssey dry cell better then stock? Do you know if it can handle my sound system better? I'm running 2 JL amps w/ 2 10w3's and focal speakers in the front w/ a deck.

no no no, the odyssey is a tiny battery meant for weight reduction, the the optima red top if you need a battery for big stereo systems.

Hey Jaykub, did you ever check on your battery? My OEM took a crap again today so I'm looking for a new one pretty quick. Any recommendations on where I should get one? Thanks.

There's this place in anahiem:

www.tna-sports.com

optima yellow for 109.95

i was going to buy from them, but they weren't open on a saturday, so I called pepboys, and they did a price match

i was debating between an optima yellow vs. a red...

i ended up going with the yellow because i have a system and sometimes i'll be listening to it with the engine off. The optima yellow will allow you to drain it and still recharge it to it's full potential a few times.. (where as with the optima red or the stock battery, if u drain it all the way down, and recharge it, it'll drain even faster the next time around)

go to www.optimabatteries.com if you want more information on which one to get..

I went to Pep boys yesterday and they wanted to sell me an optima yellow for $149.95. They said that it wouldn't find in the car thoguh because they only had the bulky one and not the slim ones for our cars. Does everybody who swaps batteries with the optima put it in the OEM slot?
