I just got finished making a new bracket for my J's Racing engine damper that will work with a Vortech supercharger. The bracket is made from 5/32 plate steel. I copied the J's top section and moved the lower mounting point back 1".I also had a nut welded to the lower section for clearance. All the pieces where cut by me and TIG welded by a friend of mine.
Unpainted bracket
damnn if it wasnt for the poor fitting bracket i would have bought the damper... maybe you could make a copy and send it to j's for them to fix their original cause yours looks awesome
This is the second bracket Iv'e made, I have since sold the first one. My previous bracket worked great but would not work with the blower. Iv'e sent templates of my previous bracket to several members including Vapors2k who did the original test fit for the LHD bracket. I don't know if J's got the template or will bother changing the LHD damper to fit. Here's the 1st time around.
