Car Charger Broke! Cig Lighter came off
My girlfriend had bought me a car charger a few days ago because my phone constantly dies. So about 3 days later the whole plug thing comes out! I was like
This is the first time I've ever used it for anything and 3 days later it falls apart. It still send power to my car charger but its hanging out of the thing. Sorry I don't really know the correct terms for these things but try to work with me
So yeah, can anyone help me out. Do I have to take apart the glove apart to screw back the metal power source thing? it won't stay in there! some wires are showing now too! Please help me out - thanks

Have your answer. Not a big worry, but a little work to fix. No you don't have to take the glove box out.
Move the driver seat all the way forward. Remove the screws from the two hooks on the black panel (they look like clothing hooks). Then remove this panel. Now lift up the leather pad on the arm rest from the back. Remove the two screws on the bottom of the glove box underneath the pad. Now you should be able to move the plastic out enought to get a hand behind the plastic.
The DC adapter has a metal sleeve that for some reason likes to unscrew itself. Simple hold the outside portion of the DC adapter and screw the sleeve back on. Now replace all the screws in the reverse order you took them out.
I use this outlet for my detector and have to do this every 3-4 months.
Good Luck!!!
