Default Who has had their 054 clutch replaced

If you've had your dodgy (054 vibrating at 3-4k revs) clutch replaced, can you give me details of when, where and what they stealers said about it as i'm about to go and try and get mine done and I want a bit of ammunition before I go, your help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks....

My S is a 00 and got 33k, but probs started at around 29k

Sorry if this has been asked before, but you know how it is....

Got mine replaced under extended warranty by Johnsons Honda (Kidlington, Oxford). Car had done approx 15k at the time but was over 3 years old.

Aylesbury Honda refused to do it under warranty only 2 days previously.

I had a gearbox failure at 8000 miles which was probably ~May 2001 (1 year old), and they replaced the clutch at the same time. No quibbles from the dealer (Balmer Lawn) or Honda.

Mine was done at Braylake Honda in Hemel Hempstead just before the 3 year warranty expired.

Had mine replaced under warranty a few weeks ago by Drake and Fletcher Maidstone.
No issues at all with them doing it under warranty, mechanic looked at the car, asked about the symptoms, then we went back in and he told the service people its a known issue with these cars and needs to be booked in to have the plate replaced.
Due to it being a known issue, they automatically booked it in under warranty, no questions asked.

Not sure if you saw my earlier post about it, but if the car feels mega twitchy, and is all over the place following the work, get them to make sure the sub frame is aligned properly.

Is there any way you can check this, and would getting the allingment re-set sort it out, as I have had some work done to my car, and I was thinking it felt a bit twitchy, but thought it was just me getting used to the car again after 10 weeks of driving a civic.
