So I wanna cover the carpet in the center console of my 00 and I like the price and looks of ricks leather cover, for those who have one. How do you like it, how is the fit, and how does it hold up?

It's awesome German leather. It feels way better than the AP2 pleather insert. It's honestly a 10/10 good buy. Do take your time installing it though. You don't want ugly folds and creases on the leather.

 

 

Can you post some pics showing the leather close up? I have been thinking about getting this as well.

 

I've had Rick's console cover and shift boot at least 3 years now and know that they are great products. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I would HIGHLY recommend it. It really adds such a nice element to the whole car afterwards.

I got the black leather with red stitching and have an AP2 Center Console put on top.

 

It would of been great if Rick made it exactly the same shape as the oem carpet, it stops short where it's curves out and fasten up to the sides like the oem. It's still great, it'll be even greater if he had done so.
