Unhappy Headlamp condensation? ? ?

Some of you will find this interesting, I know, I know yet another wet headlamp post but get this... A few weeks back I did the full job on my condensated (new word!) headlamp where as I removed the bumper, took out the lamp, dried it all out 100%, baked it, re-sealed it, took it to bed, gave it lots of warm loving and put it back in with the equivalent of 04> rear seals (filled the vents up with silicone).

So there it is looking all crystal clear and sparkly...

Two days later and it

Sealing it up complete will cause that problem as you seall moisture in. As the tmeperatures change it condenses out.
I discovered this when I had the same problem with my 00 car a couple of years ago. All I did was dry it out in the airing cupboard and reseal the joint between the two halves. I blocked all the vents up like you and had the problem again. Putting it back as Honda intended it went away.
I guess they are called vents for a reason

If you are referring to the rubber cap over the main beam bulb it is best accessed through the hole in the wing in the engine compartment. (as detailed in the manual)
Did it last night to install my 100W main beams.
Any other access is as per Ian's suggestion.

Can you do something similar for the rear lights?

One of mine is badly misted.

Took the seal off about 3 days ago under Lloyds advice and it seems to be clearing

Hopefully it will completely clear in a few more days. If it does, RESULT!!!! Been annoying me for ages now.

Cheers Lloyd. U Da Man
