For a while we were meeting up at hooters and things were working out fine, After a while I guess people lost interest. Last Thursday we got a nice group of people together and we decided to have a new Hangout.... Things were left in the air.
Any Suggestions?

Personally I liked Bird and 87th Pollo Tropical

 

Cp, I think it's great that your trying to better organize a new meeting place however, this really should be done with on of our CO's or Mods.

 

^ I agree with you 100% but its not the way things are working out. Anyways last thursday we did had a nice time @ Pollo Tropical where we met new memebers and old ones were passing by but there is still the chance of cops always messing up the moment, we need a place like BB on Pembroke where we can sit down and have fun with out interruption. Its kind of hard to find a place like this but it could be done if we all put a little bit of effort. For now I will just hang out @ Pollo Tropical until things change because of whatever reasons.
Anyone has any ideas?

 

We have no problem with things like this being discussed... But until we can locate a safe and legit place ( meaning no hassel from cops, really just avoiding the 'ricer' atmosphere ) S2ki cant fully back it. To much goes into making it an "official" weekly meet. S2ki doesn't want to be held responsible, nor does it want to be associated with things of that nature.

We are in no way shooting down your attempt to start a new meet, we have all agreed that a further south meet on another day of the week isn't a bad idea. If you can locate a such place talk to me, warren (daworm) , or matt (deiger) and we will talk it over with you.

If you also want to discuss meeting together, and driving to those hangouts here, your more then welcome. Thats one of the reasons we have the board =)

To be honest I like the current hangout , if we move to another spot that doesn't mean that more ppl would show up, I think as along as we have those certain few that are reliable and can make it to meets then we should not have a problem. And as far as 87th and Bird go, I would only go there after meeting somewhere else (like Hooters) that place is just too heated for a meeting. It would be better as a spot to hit up after having the meeting at a laid back spot. I think last Thursday was a good example of how a good night with the fellow "S" owners could go.

I agree. Places like this allow even those of the group that arent into the whole "street racing" scene to not be forced into it at one of our meetings. If you so choose to go there afterwards, then by all means, your more then wellcome to. Infact, im certain a few of our members would follow.

The only thing is, we tried this with hooters, and due to a lack of response, we just stoped posting it on the boards. The amount of people there would vary week to week. Just like it does at BB's. Last week at bb's, i think only 3 people went???
