It's a Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB54, for those that I haven't bored on the subject before ...
Dealer fitted a JVC in-screen aerial and the DAB reception is awesome. Aerial comprises a small postage stamp sized black plastic box that is stuck on the inside top left of the windscreen. From this come two adhesive filaments that extend across and down (think an upside down "L"). Very discreet and unobtrusive. The dash control interface seems to work as well, although still getting my head round what the dash buttons actually do in all the different modes (DAB/Radio(FM/AM)/CD/Memory Card) ...
Unit also reads MMC/SD cards so been having fun with my first MP3 complilation on a 1Gb SD card. Can also record DAB on the card if I want as well.
Will post pics once the weather improves. It's been snowing up here so not really the weather for sitting out in the car and reading the manual . However, did manage to change the "Ocean Blue" screen backlight colour to "Amber" (a sort of VTec orange, that seems to go better with the car) having discounted red and green.
I've got an Alpine 9815RB in my S at the moment for MP3 enjoyment and had been toying with the idea of getting DAB.
Could be tempted to put the Alpine in the beater (which needs a decent headunit anyway) and put something like your unit into the S, subject to your review and pics of your install.

First impressions ...
Do I read this correctly in that you have found an adapter to use Blaupunkt head units with the dash buttons on the right side of the dash? Do you have a part number etc? Being able to use Blaupunkt units in the S would open the options significantly, I'm currently looking at 300 quids worth of Alpine CDA9833R/KCE865B and Blaupunkt tend to be significantly cheaper for the same sound quality.

TIA
Whilst I appreciate GTFCTIM is trying to help , his link does not point to the supplier from whom I obtained my interface.
My interface was a bespoke job made for me by the following supplier :-
Countdown Enterprises Ltd
17 Hill Farm Road
Chalfont St Peter
Bucks
SL9 0DD
As far as I know, they will make interfaces for most head units. The wiring harness is specific to the model of car allied to a "dongle" that is head unit specific.

Sorry Shiskine, I tried finding your last post on the subject, but couldn't find it.
I mentioned earlier about understanding what the dash buttons do in each mode. For example, in DAB and FM mode, the mute button mutes the sound, but in CD mode it pauses play. This is actually better than the OEM setup where it only mutes the CD sound. The head unit has a fairly complicated menu system so I'm not so naive that I expect to be able to operate it fully from the dash. It's only the main controls (volume, mute/pause, track skip) that I suspect most people are looking for.
Probably be end of the week before I can get you all some pics. Still snowed in here
