It "kinda" mounted to the stock holes.. the threaded sleves weren't symetrical, and I was forced to make oblong holes to line up the spoiler. The holes are right against the flared part of the trunk lid from underneath. It wasn't slick by anymeans, but I didn't expect it would be either.
All in all, pretty easy to install. 2 people is a must though
