Default Oil Pan Gasket

I am preparing to replace the stock oil pan with a modified pan for my Supercharger install. I went to the dealer to pick a a new gasket and after the parts guy check his computer advised that there was no gasket and this is a metal to metal sandwich with an RTV filler. seems like risky business to me but. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket/performance gasket availalbe or shoudl I just have faith!

The RTV works great.. that is what the factory does and that is what those of us that have dropped the pan used. Just clean the parts well, use a solid bead, and let it cure at least eight hours before exposing to hot oil.

Use hondabond from the dealership. It works better than any permatex brand RTV sealants I've ever used. Put on a good even (and THIN!) bead and let it sit for about 5 minutes before putting it on.
