Default Alignment shop recommendations

Howdy all,

My first post as a pacnw s2k owner. I have an 01 silverstone that I bought from Barrier Porsche...(anybody know whose it was before I got it?)

I want to have the alignment done. Can anybody recommend a good shop in Seattle or east side?

I did a search in this forum, but didn't come up with anything...

thks

Mark

I'm going to Omni next time. Little disappointed in Speedware - they were unable to fully dial in the specs I requested.

I'd recommend the guy I have used forever (Byron @ Tru-Line) but I'm too cheap to pay $140 for an alignment.

Don't go to Speedware -- even though they're capable of doing alignments, their record on other work is such that your money would be best spent supporting more competent shops. Like Fordahl Motorsports, for instance, although they tend to have really long waits in this part of the year.

Hi Markus01... welcome to the PacNW S2K. Omni would be my recommendation for an alignment shop.

Try Europa in Bellevue. I can't remember the tech's name, but he is a hard core Auto-Crosser. He does alignments for a bunch of other auto-crossers as well. He got my specs exactly how I wanted it. They will do any spec (granted that its possible) and they will put dead weight in the drivers seat (or if you wait around you can sit in the car).

You can usually get your car in on any day.
I think I paid about $80-90.

Tru-Line Frame & Wheel
312 Boren Ave So.
Seattle, WA 98144

206-325-3340

They are in Seattle..............just got mine done there, they did a great job. The car felt totally different (better) when they were done.

They also corner balanced my "S" - Set it up for "Aggressive Street / Track"

It was a little pricey...$$$......but they did a nice Job.....they did give me a club discount price......$150.

Here are the current settings:

Front: -1.53 camber
6.34 caster
0 toe angle

Rear: -2.4 camber
2.2 mm of toe-in
0 thrust angle
