Default Heated Seat Group Buy List (Closed)

Closed due to lack of interest.
OK, here's the continuously updated thread of who's in on this group buy. If you're in, please post in this thread. I imagine all will go with the Standard kit since the pads are larger, the material heats up faster (nickel based vs. carbon fiber), has a lighted power switch and is less expensive ($350 installed vs. $400 for 2 seats).

When responding, please include the following 4 pieces of information:
Your name, car info (year, make & model), kit desired and payment method.

I can collect money... either cash or a check at Taco Tuesday or via PayPal if you add the 3.2% PayPal fee I'll get charged.

As soon as we have 3 people signed up, I'll start scheduling installs. They'll be in the order you respond unless your scheduling requires that you grab a later date. Rob can do 2 S2k's per weekend. For less familiar cars, he'll do one per weekend.

Be aware that Rob needs 1/2 the fee up front to order the kits.

Group Buy Confirmations:
1. Beth Pirrong, '98 BMW M3, Standard Kit, Cash
2. Kelvin, '04 Honda S2000, Standard Kit, Cash/Check
3.
4.
5.

Update: We've now set a deadline: Dec 16th, 2005 for people to join. If we don't have the numbers we need by then (3), we'll close it. I want this thing to happen sooner than later. If we get 3 by this date, the group buy can continue when seat heaters are purchased 2 cars worth at a time.

Rob says that he can start ordering kits when we get 3 orders confirmed. After that, he just needs 2 at a time. So we need one more person to kick off the order. If we get our 3 or more by Tacos this evening, I'll have Rob place the initial order.

Please bring 1/2 the cost as a deposit in cash or check to Tacos tonight. Or if you prefer PayPal, tell me and I'll give you Rob's PayPal email.

Thanks,
Russ

How long will this offer be going on for? I'd really like to get involved, but the wallet is tight w/Christmas around the corner.

If we get an initial 3+ members, then others can join in in pairs as time goes on... So probably through January. But we need the initial 3 to get started. Otherwise, it's $50 more for the kits.

OK, someone else please pull the trigger so we can get started.
