Top End w/ VAFC & Bolt Ons
I have a stock 01 s2000, you know how 5.5-7 it really pulls, and when you get close to 8000-9000 it seems to somewhat level off, but still pulling?
I was curious with Bolts ons (I/H/E, not cat) and a vafc tuned if hat would be enough to resolve that?

A well tuned V-AFC would fix that by itself. The other bolt-ons won't. The factory fuel map is very rich at high RPMs, so power drops off significantly. By leaning out the mixture up top, you can easily gain 15-20 HP at 8900 RPMs on a stock engine. By comparison, you may be able to get an additional 5 HP from an extra $5000 in bolt ons.

BTW, if you have an '00-'01 ECU, you will benefit greatly from a V-AFC if it is tuned by someone good (like Shawn Church).
