Just wondering if the roll bars/seats do their job?

Not that I'planning to try this anytime soon

Do you think the flimsy fabric and and roof frame is enough to save you even if you had the roof up?

I rolled one with the soft top up.



Judge for youself as i don't think the softtop makes a big difference.

Oh, and yes. I know of at least one person that has rolled it with the roof down. And a second person who rolled it but I can't really tell looking at the wreckage whether the roof was down or up when disaster struck.

Plenty have rolled it nonetheless.

The car is very strong, but it's best not to try it.

I'm not sure the hard top makes much difference either, although I guess it was more resistant to the hedge trying to force its way into the car.
