well, i had a sample of the NOS energy drink at HIN this past summer. unlike all other energy drinks, it actually tasted very good (i hate energy drinks and i never drink them). i was thirsty on my way back home from UPS yesterday, so i stopped in to 7-11 and decided to get one. i finished drinking it around 5:45pm yesterday. i didn't think anything of it because whenever i had energy drinks before, they did absolutely nothing for me. i felt completely normal all night, no jitters, no noticeable amount of extra energy.

the problem is that i stayed up all night and was not even REMOTELY tired until 8:30am today. now i am DEAD. my sleeping schedule will be off for the entire weekend because i have things planned for each day that i can't back out of.

so i guess cliff notes: if you need to be able to stay up all ****ing night long (essay, exam, long drive, PIIHB), NOS energy drink should do the trick.

 

there's easier ways to stay up all night...

 

you keep pressuring me to experiment with illegal substances. i think i'm telling my mom when she gets home.

 

I haven't tried it yet, but my drink (drug) of choice is Monster Blue, in the XXL can.

man I used to be addicted to those things. I figured, it's better for you as far as sugar, and calories go, than cokes...and it'll get you buzzed.

plus blue tastes good. I'll check out NOS next time I'm on graveyards though

frankly, tho.... I don't see how you can drink nos and smoke menthols, and then have the nerve to say pot tastes like shit.....

NOS tastes good and so do menthols! pot does taste like utter shit, except for when it's taken through water. in canada i had some decent tasting stuff, but it also had me ****ed up for about 30 hours straight.

and i'm not in college anymore, i'm in medical school and under the hippocratic oath..i think i remember saying something like i will stay away from all deeds of corruption and something something something about promoting healthy lifestyles and doing nothing to intentionally induce harm or suffering...some crap like that...yeah...lol

 

Odd, I drank a big one before whitewater rafting and was dead at the end of the day. I suppose it is all relative to the amount of physical activity you engage in. This stuff is tasty though.

 

NOS is the only energy drink that tastes good.

I've never had a problem w/ the caffine though and I don't drink coffe so its not like I'm used to it.

 

maybe it's like redline.... that stuff is made to take while you work out, so you actually "burn" your energy off while you're physically active.

I made the mistake of drinking redline, and not working out... was up just like you.
