Default Wrecked S2000 Last Night (***FIXED CAR PICS pg.7)

I wrecked my 2002 s2000 with 52,000 miles on it last night into a ditch. I have owned the car since december and really haven't drove it a whole lot because of the weather. My BIG mistake was driving it before my new tires came in. My current tires are almost bald, and I shouldn't have been driving it, let alone driving it in the rain. I was taking off from a stop sign and shifted into 2nd, 3rd, and when I shifted to 4th gear my back end let loose and I did a 360 in the middle of the road then went down into a ditch with a few very small trees. My back left wheel was almost completely off and there was some sort of damage every where else on the car. I was going maybe 45 when I lost control.

I had it towed to a shop last night, and got the estimate today. The guy at the shop doesn't think my insurance company will Total it, but he said it will be close. The estimate he gave me was $10,050. He said I am getting the following replaced: Front Bumper, Front Lip, Drivers side door, left rear fender, rear bumper, tailights, left front and back rims, and right rear panel. Everything is getting re-painted except my hood, which I am going to see if they will paint it also for a small fee. I am pretty bummed right now, but glad that I am okay.

I will post pics later today.

Lesson Learned: Don't drive the S without GOOD tires with tread on them. I learned the hard way. ):

UPDATE**********
Here are the pics of my car.

Big Mistake Right here.

This is where I crashed, and what I crashed into.

sorry to say but 10k in damages on a 02 sounds like a total to me. At least you're safe, as always said, you can always get another car.

Good luck getting everything back together, luckily you weren't injured! Maybe you should go for a custom colour now!

He's probably from the southeast. It's been raining here for the past few days.
