Default Is it Totaled? *UPDATE* New Pics on 2nd page

So last night I was headed to my moms house for some Christmas Dinner. I was pulling out of a gas station turning left. checked both ways clear as the gas station sits on the other side of a stop sign. As I pull out I look over my shoulder to double check out of habit. I see a semi truck roll stop the sign at about 20 and start accelerating. So to avoid him running me over I put my foot into it a little bit.

As I cross the center turning lane I hit some loose sand/gravel from the sand trucks. The ass end slipped out and I went sidways. Im somewhat use to this as I drive the car year round including in the snow. I correct the "drift" and choko it the other way. I look out my drivers side window in time to see the car that was infront of me slam on his brakes and stop. Not sure why, if he was scarred or just wanted to watch or what.

So as Im sliding sideways I see him stop and im going to hit the rear end of his car so I dip the throttle and the back swings around. now Im in a broad slide sliding towards the curb I miss the curb and go right where a drive way is and smak a 600+lbs BOULDER. this sends the car in a 180 and comes to a rest. I think I was doing maybe 35-40 when impact. When the driver that stopped saw this he took off and didnt even check if I was ok.

Now I do not condone street racing or drifting or any of that other stuff. This was not a planned "drift" it happed when I hit that sand not to mention the temp last night was 19 degrees.... So I dont wanna hear the stupid you dumb ass ricer bullshit about not doing it on the streets.... I dont and wont... It was an accident

So the biggest smack in the face of all this is my mommy comes and picks me up from the scene and I go do the whole christmas thing.... I got brand new tires for Christmas..... and the robbins glass top.....

I don't think thats a total loss, it can be fixed but I would be very suspicious of frame damage. That's pretty fast for a collision I'm pretty impressed the damage is not more substantial.

Barbie car in the snow/ice/sand/cold FTL... I dont know when I hit the boulder it fliped the car around a full 180 and donw a 6ft embankment. No suspension damage that I could tell but the door was jammed shut and the fender is pushed in pretty far... I moved that boulder 6 feet from where it was sitting!

I agree with checking for frame damage! However there is a lot of cushion there to allow for crumpling of the sides. I would guess that she is okay. I can understand your concern as my S is at the collision center from an accident that damaged both the front and rear I wish you the best of luck

I think it looks ok... rims and suspension look fine so it might be as easy as a panel, a door, and misc. parts. Any reputable shop should check for frame damage.
