Default Voltex, Aeromotions, APR - GT wing suggestions

I am currently prepping my car to run in NASA TTB. I've been looking at getting a GT wing, but I don't know anything about them. I will primarily be running in the SE region, so Road Atlanta and CMP will be my main competitive tracks. VIR and Mid Ohio are also on the go-to list. What brand/model wing would you guys suggest for the tracks listed with Road Atlanta being my primary track. It is a fast track with long straights, so I don't want a wing that produces a lot of drag. Also, per NASA rules, the wing can not exceed the width of the stock body without taking extra points. Here's my current setup:

KW V3
Saner fsb
17x9 +45 RPF1's square
255/40 RA-1's square
I/H/E
OEM Hardtop

I know it's not an ideal setup, but I'd like to get my feet wet in TT. HPDE's are getting boring, and I want some competition.

I was looking at the Voltex type 2 and type 7. Does the type 7 produce more downforce? Is it overkill for a track like Road Atlanta?

I have a friend selling an Aeromotions R2 wing - www.aeromotions.com and another friend selling an APR GTC-300. The Aeromotions wing came off his STI, but it is the same universal fitment for the S2000. Has anyone on here run an Aeromotions wing? I think I can get it for a pretty good deal. Do you guys think it is worth a shot?

Thanks! And any other tips you guys can give me for TT is greatly appreciated.

Most everyone in the s2k challenge seem to run a voltex type 2 with a very similar setup as you have. the people that run the apr gtc-200 do it because it's 1/2 the price of the voltex.

I'd be interested in his asking price on the Aeromotions wing if you don't go ahead with that one.

I don't think you need much more than a GTC-200 if you are not doing a splitter or going realy aggresive on the aero.

You might something with around the same DF levels and less drag but I don't notice a great deal of straightline speed lose with the APR.

If it help's you any my setup is pretty similar to yours except that im running 17x9 1/2 +38 RPF1's with 245x4 hoosier A6's and have the GTC 300 on the car right now. I used the wing on my buddies AP1 @ VIR and it was insane how much stick the car has with it.

I think he's asking around $1000 for it. He only had it on his STI for 6 months before he traded it in for a GT3. He's a good friend of mine, so I could probably get it for less. I just don't know anyone who has experience with this wing on an S2000.

That was another concern of mine. I want the car to stay balanced. I have enough points to play with if I wanted to add a splitter. I also need more front camber, so the J's camber joints are on the list too.

I will eventually go to a Hoosier A6 in 245/40/17, so I want to keep enough points available to stay in TTB.

I will eventually go to A6's in those sizes after I run through my RA-1's. What other mods did the car have at VIR besides the GTC 300? Did it understeer with that wing on it?

I changed the springrates to try and factor the wing in.

With my old setup I probably had at least 200lbs more spring up front and the car pushed with the wing. Now I have only 100lbs more up spring up front and the car has a nice balance with the wing. Without the wing its pretty scary though

Are you running stock sway bars?

I have the same spring rate all around with a Saner fsb up front on the middle setting. The car is pretty well balanced with a tendency towards oversteer. It will understeer on really tight, slow speed turns. It will oversteer on medium to high speed turns which can get a little unnerving especially in turn 1, turn 12, and going down the esses at Road ATL.
