Thanks Simon! For the record, it's http://www.calcarcover.com. Google comes thru again

[At first, I thought you were playing a dry, subtle joke: Spa Yellow is the best and only true color for the S2K, and www.calcover.com makes covers for spas!]

Any recommendations as to the fabric? The car will be garaged at night, undercover parking garage at work during the day (need protection against door dings), street parking on occasion, daily driver. I may want to park with the top down, so would like some water resistance if it rains. Theft is a problem in Sydney, sometimes just for the sake of stealing something, so I need to be able to lock it. Are (the collective) you *sure* a rubber coated, lightweight cable won't damage the paint if a strong wind kicks up???

I can read the website but if you have an opinion fire away. StormWeave, SuperWeave, and SupremeWeave all look good to me

another thought:
depends completely on the use.

a cover that is needed for a car that parks outside is different from one that is usually garaged.

for example, my car lives under a cover- but it is almost always in a garage... the cover allows me to keep the top down always, keeps dings off of the doors (cause its padded), and keeps the car looking freshly detailed. i have two honda covers...

if i had to keep the car outside at work or at home, i would have a more weather resistent cover-

indoor car cover- OEM is fine since all it is is a dust cover

outdoor- california car cover makes a number of different options. It will depend on your location/ where car will be outdoors and in what environment.
