Mississippi River Run
Our next run is rapidly approaching. We have a Mississippi River run planned for July 8th which is just under 4 weeks away. I have two routes planned. One north to Hannibal and one south to Cape Girardeau. I also have a couple of longer runs both of which require an overnight stay. I, however, would prefer to just make a day of it. Say from 8:00 - 4:00 and grab lunch half way in to the trip. The Hannibal route is preferred.
So... before we go any further, I would like some commitments on who is planning on going. Chime in here if you are planning to attend.

Is anyone welcome Mike? Maybe it is too long of a drive... for us Okies...but it would be great to meet up.
62 View and limited interest?
My planning days are not as good as they used to be
Is the date bad
, if so we can move forward or back.
Finished mapping out the route there and back. About 150 miles there (pink), 80 back (green). Am thinking of leaving around 8:30-9:00 which 11:30 - 12:00. Have lunch in Hannibal from 12:00 - 1:30. We can walk around a bit, head out by 2:00 and be home by no later than 4:00.
There are many restaurants in Hannibal, but based on the number of people going, its difficult to pick one. Anybody ever eat at Bubba's. Excellent BBQ there. Other suggestions of where to eat?
Here is a preview of the run. Chime in if interested. SherryO and I will be making the trip. Dates can easily be adjusted right now.
Julez, Martini... the Okies are more than welcome to attend. .. KC group is more than welcome

Gosh this is going to be a great drive! I am really suprised at the limited interest. Jules and I are still toying with the idea... but the drive up sure is a long haul with mucho miles for the S....
Don't count us out yet... but I think the chances of us heading that far northeast is pretty slim.
