Overview: Date: July 30 - Aug 2 2004

Attendees: Currently 20 confirmed S2000s.

Location: Isle of Arran, West Scotland. Arran is 35 miles southwest of Glasgow, just a couple of hours north of the Scotland/England border.

Duration of Meet : 2-3 days

Ferry: www.calmac.co.uk (YOU MUST BOOK ASAP!!!)

Itinerary: On the weblink above. Plenty of things going on!

Speed: The island is very busy at this time of year. We will drive in much slower convoys than previous meets

Weather: Should be good.

Petrol: 95 ron on Arran. 98 ron available prior to arrival (in Ardrossan)

To a certain extent, funds and availability of holiday (bearing in mind SM5 and a proposed trip to see some of Jenny's family in the US later in the year) will dictate whether we can make it, but we'll certainly try to be there for at least part of it

I must try and make it this year Graham, but can only manage a long weekend probably.
(unless I sail my own boat down during my summer holidays )

Note to self : acquire bird using romantic island break in exotic sports car as bait.

My Dad knows someone who owns a hotel on Arran - I'll ask him tonight which one it is.
