Carolina folks, get ready for another great get together filled with some great times, drives and food!

On Saturday, February 22nd (my birthday), we will have a meet and drive in Wilmington. Phil (MyBad) is helping considerably in regards to the drive plans. Looks like we'll have some fine cruising routes that can easily be filled with "spirited" driving.

Place: McAlister's on College Rd. (It's just south of the UNC-W campus and on the opposite side of the street.)

Time: 12PM (noon for the AM-PM challenged)

We'll have lunch there (inside!) and leave around 1:30 for HOTRODS2000's secret twisties in the outback north of Wilmington. "A titilating, high-speed adventure packed with hairpin turns and an elevation change of over TWO FEET" - from MyBad's diary.

When we've overindulged to the point of delirium, we'll head back to Wilmywood and seek refreshment at Buffalo Wild Wings, also near the university. For those who are staying for dinner, we'll dine at the ever-sumptuous but reasonably priced Bluewater Grille on the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway at Wrightsville Beach.

I have it noted on my calendar! I usually stay at the Residence Inn (near Landfall?) because they let my dog stay there as well. Its not too far from Historic Wilmington and not too far from the beach.

Raul, thanks for the PM on this otherwise I'd have missed it. Days are pretty packed here at lovely Camp Lejeune these days. However this is one day in February that I don't have anything going on, so count me in.
