I wanna find out how many of you are actually interested in a dyno day.

When: The tentative date is Saturday Feb. 22, 2003
Where: DNR Performance
Address: 25710 Industrial Blvd #2 , Hayward, CA 94545
Cost: $30 for 2 baseline dyno runs

If we can get more people to go, they'll drop the price! I need an approximate headcount. I'll confirm with them once I get at least 10-15 people.

I dyno'ed mine last time and got:
HP: 199 TORQUE: 137

WHO'S IN?!
JDM
hyperpm
MeCCaJM
dRaGoNbOi
blureds2k
speeeding
Carlson
Pakisho
MrMack
ryang
S2Thizzle
Secret AP1

Total: 16 + 7 NSX

That's pretty cheap. What kind of dyno do they use, and what type of setup? Fans, cooldown between runs to prevent heat soak, etc? From what I've heard the Dynojet 248 is the most consistent machine for comparison puposes.

DNR Performance have a floor dyno jet..

They don't do corner balancing...

They got a floor fan... not a big one tho... between each dyno run, probably wait for a min or 2.....i've seen a lot of dyno runs before .... and even w/o letting the car rest... dyno whp #s are still pretty close...

If you guys want to do tuning after baseline... u can set up a time w/Dave and go back for tuning...

DNR is where "SKUNK2 / Group A" used to be... cuz Skunk2 moved to so.ca..
so Dave bought the shop...

Do they connect OBD2 sensor to the ecu to get engine temp readings during dyno. Heat soak can cause varied output readings. Just trying to gauge how useful this is going to be for me.

I'd be interested in dynoing my 540i; my S2K is bone stock at the moment.
