Corvette Club last year did a charity run where they started in Boston (something like that) and then drove to Ground Zero. All the money raised was donated to the Fireman/Policeman Fund for the families that were effected by 9/11. It's a great idea but you need to find a reputable charity.

Or you can wait till the weather gets warmer and do like the Harley guys do and strap toys to their bikes and bring them to a hospital that specializes in children.

We can all get together and drive to a blood bank to donate blood. This is something money cannot buy and there's a shortage of blood being reported these days. We just need to tell them in advance.

You guys are funny! Seriously, I have driven my S right after donating blood no problem. What I do is I make sure to have a light meal or snack and about 24 oz. of water before I donate. I usually bring a water bottle in with me to sip on, in case there is a wait. After you donate, they make you sit at a table and have some juice and cookies for 15 minutes before you can leave. The only time I ever felt woozy was when I neglected to eat and prehydrate myself beforehand.

Anyway, I think something for charity is a great idea!

1. Charity TDS ralley. We set it up. Charge people to enter, all proceeds to the designated charity, all cars welcome.

2. Honda car show at the Larz Anderson Museum of Transportation. They currently do a number of shows for different marques like Ferrari, Triumph, Mercedes, Porsche and British car day. I have not seen Honda. Same deal, we set it up, charge entrants (all Hondas/Acuras welcome) proceeds to charity.

3. Track day at Lime Rock. More pricey...not sure how it would work.

Cheapest one to do is TDS ralley. Second cheapest is Larz Anderson.
