Default FINALLY a day at MotorSport Ranch

After many unanswered phone messages and numerous emails I finally have Jack's cell phone number and we can set a day.

The available days are:
March 29 or 30
April 5 or 6
April 19 or 20
April 27th

Except for Sunday April 27th, the first date is a Saturday and the 2nd a Sunday.

It is a 1/2 day at Motorsport Ranch. There is a 20 car minimum-32 car max. The cost would be $95 & we would get:

#1 lead follow session followed by classroom session.
#2 lead follow session followed by classroom time
#3 split into 2 groups and get 2-25 minute hot lapping sessions each.

Passengers allowed on lead follow, NO passengers on hot laps

You will need to pay in advance, but first things first, when do you want to go?

The March or the first days in April would be easier for me also.

Since we have the option I would like a Saturday rather than a Sunday, if I have my druthers.

Sat or Sun?

We'll give first dibs to S2000s, but I know we won't have 20 S's. I'll bet we will be lucky to have 10 so all the Miata & Suby guys who wanted to come should be able to fit in.

David,

I'm interested but I'm, like I hope many others are, planning on participating in the Austin trip April 5-6 and the Blue Bonnet drive on April 19th. Like you, I would prefer a Saturday. Last Saturday in March sounds good to me.

I've waited for this news since the first North Texas focus event at Motorsport Ranch a few years back. Great news! Count me in if the date doesn't conflict with one of the drives.

Thanks

Personally, I'd prefer March 29th or 30th, since my birthday is on the 31st and free entry would be a great b'day present from the S2000 gang.

Just kidding about the free entry part, but that would be the most convenient weekend for me.

April 5/6 is the same weekend as the SCCA National Tour in Houston, so I wouldn't be able to make that weekend at all. The SCCA Fort Worth ProSolo is the following weekend (April 12/13), so the weekend of April 19/20 I'll probably have to spend some quality time with my better half to keep her from divorcing me after spending the previous two weekends racing.

FYI, the local Suby group has already lined up a Focus Day for themselves for March 15th at the Ranch. Whether that would have any impact on their interest in joining an S2000 focus day shortly thereafter I couldn't tell you. But just thought I'd let you know.

It looks as if March 28 or 29th will have to be it.

I will call and book the joint on Monday!!

Then I will have to start collecting $$ from all of you.

Whoops, that's the 29 or 30th.

Let's just go ahead and make it Saturday the 29th.

It's over 2 hours from my door to MSR and if we do it on Sunday I may not get all the beauty sleep I need before Monday morn when I have to go back to work.
